…SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SOUTHERN TALLADEGA AND
SOUTHWESTERN CLAY COUNTIES UNTIL 515 PM CDT…
At 434 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Sycamore to Sylacauga to Fayetteville.
Movement was northeast at 5 mph.
Pea size hail, locally heavy rain, and winds in excess of 40 mph
will be possible with these storms.
Locations impacted include…
Sylacauga, Childersburg, Wilsonville, Talladega Springs,
Fayetteville, Winterboro, Sycamore, Lay Lake, Sylacauga Municipal
Airport, Overbrook, Cedar Creek, Gantts Quarry, Hollins, Varnons,
Chandler Springs, Roselle, Mignon and Alabama 4H Center.
