After extensive work by the Barons’ grounds crew, the SEC Baseball Tournament game is expected to resume at 615 p.m. CDT.

There are light to moderate showers over Shelby county right now that will mover the Stadium between now and 6:45 p.m., but they should be relatively brief.

There should be a break then for a couple of hours at least. The next significant rain is south of Montgomery over Butler, Geneva and Henry Counties, about 140 miles south southeast of Birmingham. If they hold together, they will arrive around 9-10 p.m.
