Lunch Time in Alabama

Showers and storms continue over Southwest and Central Alabama this morning.

Over North Central Alabama…they are generally bordered by an area from Hamilton to Double Springs to Vinemont to Gadsden through northern Jefferson County the curving down through Pickens and Tuscaloosa Counties and on into Southwest Alabama.

That confusing? Here is a snapshot of the radar:

Looks like a little lane of opportunity for the SEC Baseball Tournament to be rainfree for the final game at noon. Keeping fingers crossed.

Showers and storms will continue to grow and intensify in these little lanes or feeder bands. Some of them could become strong with rotating updrafts.

Everything is moving north. Consult your radar and keep an eye to the sky for any threatening clouds this afternoon.
