…SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR RANDOLPH…NORTHEASTERN
TALLAPOOSA AND CHAMBERS COUNTIES UNTIL 545 PM CDT…
At 458 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Sparkling Springs to near Lake Wedowee.
Movement was southeast at 45 mph.
Half inch hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
these storms.
Locations impacted include…
Valley, Lanett, Roanoke, Dadeville, Wedowee, Stroud, Lake Wedowee,
Lafayette, La Fayette, Jacksons’ Gap, New Site, Wadley, Woodland,
Lakeview, Cusseta, Trammel Crossroads, Buffalo, Huguley, Fairfax and
Crystal Lake.
