At 307 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Lake Purdy, or near Irondale, moving east at 30 mph.
Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm.

Birmingham, Vestavia Hills, Mountain Brook, Trussville, Irondale,
Leeds, Moody, Argo, Cahaba Heights, Shops of Grand River, Alton,
Barber Motorsports Park, The Summit, Lake Purdy, Brook Highland,
Branchville, Grants Mill Road Bridge, Liberty Park and Camp
Winnataska.
