…SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR NORTHEASTERN ETOWAH AND SOUTHERN
CHEROKEE COUNTIES UNTIL 315 PM CDT…
At 224 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Little River Canyon National Preserve to
near Tabor Road. Movement was east at 15 mph.
Pea size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
these storms.

Centre, Cedar Bluff, Centre Municipal Airport, Little River Canyon
National Preserve, Leesburg, Sand Rock, Gaylesville, Tennala,
Ballplay, Tabor Road, Slackland, Cherokee Rock Village, Cornwall
Furnace Park, Western Weiss Lake, Blanche, Eastern Weiss Lake, Weiss
Dam, Yellow Creek Falls, Keener and Chesnut Bay Resort.
