At 532 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Leeds, moving south at 15 mph.
Dime size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
this storm.
Locations impacted include…
Northeastern Birmingham, Hoover, Vestavia Hills, Mountain Brook,
Trussville, Irondale, Leeds, Moody, Chelsea, Center Point, Argo,
Indian Springs Village, Vincent, Harpersville, Westover, Shops of
Grand River, Vandiver, Barber Motorsports Park, Greystone and
Highland Lakes.
