It is not raining everywhere, but at 11:15 this morning, there were several north-moving band of moderate to heavy rain. Some of those bands were very long and wetting down a lot of communities.

This description is not all inclusive–just the main areas of rain.

1. A long string of precipitation extends from Columbus, Georgia and Phenix City, Alabama all the way NW to Calhoun County in NE Alabama.

2. West of that, another long stream of moderate to heavy showers extended from Troy northward to about Rockford, Talladega and then into St. Clair County.

3. Over on the west side of the state, moderate to heavy showers over much of Marengo, Greene and Hale Counties were moving eastward into Perry County. Even Havana Junction is getting a wetting down.

The showers mentioned in numbers 1 and 2 were moving mostly northward.
