Areal Flood Advisory Issued For Parts Of Greene And Hale Counties Until 7:45PM

The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for Poor Drainage Areas for…
    Greene County in west central Alabama…
    Western Hale County in west central Alabama…

* Until 745 PM CDT.

* At 545 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding.
    Overflowing poor drainage areas will result in minor flooding in the advisory area. One to two inches of rain may fall in a short period of time. Some areas may receive up to three inches of rain total.

    Eutaw, Greensboro, Forkland, Akron, Boligee, Union, Greensboro
    Municipal Airport, Allison, Walden Quarters, Duffys Bend, Sawyerville, Knoxville, Thornhill, Wedgeworth, Tishabee, Evansville, Snoddy, Selden Lock And Dam, Eutaw Municipal Airport and Clinton.
