Significant Weather Advisory For Talladega, Shelby, East Central Jefferson, Southwestern St. Clair, Northwestern Coosa And Western Clay Counties Until 1:30 PM CDT

CLAY COUNTIES UNTIL 130 PM CDT…
At 1237 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Coosa Island to near Calera. Movement was
east at 40 mph.
Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms. Wind
gusts between 40-50 MPH have been measured along this line of
storms. Gusty winds will occur before any heavy rainfall.
Locations impacted include…
Pelham, Oxford, Talladega, Sylacauga, Pell City, Leeds, Moody,
Calera, Chelsea, Childersburg, Columbiana, Wilsonville, Talladega
Springs, Stewartville, Weogufka, Lincoln, Vincent, Harpersville,
Munford and Westover.
