…SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR CENTRAL TALLADEGA…ELMORE…
TALLAPOOSA…COOSA AND CLAY COUNTIES UNTIL 215 PM CDT…
At 122 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Talladega to Parkdale to near Higgins
Ferry Park. Movement was southeast at 30 mph.
Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms. These
storms have a history of producing gusty winds.
Locations impacted include…
Talladega, Alexander City, Millbrook, Wetumpka, Dadeville, Lineville,
Ashland, Goodwater, Camp Hill, Rockford, Kellyton, Equality, Munford,
Elmore, Coosada, Deatsville, Eclectic, Jacksons’ Gap, New Site and
Waldo.
