…SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR NORTHWESTERN MARENGO…
SOUTHEASTERN GREENE AND SUMTER COUNTIES UNTIL 500 PM CDT…
At 430 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 7 miles north of Emelle to Livingston to near
Forkland. Movement was southwest at 20 mph.
Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms.
Locations impacted include…
Demopolis, Livingston, York, Cuba, Jefferson, Emelle, The University
Of West Alabama, Dug Hill, Tishabee, Boyd, Pin Hook, Bluffport,
Coatopa, Geiger, Old Mallard Airport, U.S. 80 and AL 28, Belmont,
Demopolis Lock And Dam, Sumterville and McDowell.
