…SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR NORTHWESTERN MARSHALL…
SOUTHWESTERN MADISON AND EAST CENTRAL MORGAN COUNTIES UNTIL 230 PM
CDT…
At 156 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a couple of strong
thunderstorms in the advisory area. The strongest cell was located
near Morgan City, or 9 miles northwest of Arab, and another storm of
similar strength was located near Laceys Spring. Both storms
were moving northeastward at 15 mph.
Wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph will be possible with these storms.
Locations impacted include…
Southern Huntsville, Arab, Redstone Arsenal, Owens Cross Roads,
Morgan City, Somerville, Eddy, Laceys Spring, Valhermoso Springs and
Farley.
