…THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 245 PM CDT FOR MORGAN AND CENTRAL LAWRENCE COUNTIES… At 1224 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing one to three inches of rain across the warned area over the last couple of hours. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly, or may already be occurring. Street flooding has already been reported in the City of Decatur. Some locations that will experience flooding include… Decatur, Hartselle, Moulton, Priceville, Trinity, Falkville, Town Creek, Courtland, Somerville and North Courtland.

The National Weather Service in Huntsville Alabama has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for…
Morgan County in north central Alabama…
Central Lawrence County in northwestern Alabama…

* Until 245 PM CDT.

* At 1145 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a cluster of thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Storm spotters have already reported some street flooding in the City of Decatur.
Additional flash flooding may already be occurring, or will begin shortly across Central Lawrence County and North Central Morgan
Counties.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include…
