…A FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1100 PM CDT FOR EASTERN LAUDERDALE…NORTHWESTERN LIMESTONE AND NORTHERN LAWRENCE COUNTIES… Shortly after 8 PM, emergency management and county officials reported several flooded roads across from Lexington to Rogersville. The warning will be allowed to expire at 11 PM CDT as rainfall is coming to an end, but flooding may still be ongoing in low lying and poor drainage areas. Please do not drive around barricades. Some locations that will experience flooding include… Rogersville, Town Creek, Lexington, Courtland, North Courtland, Hillsboro, Anderson, Good Springs, Coxey and Oliver.

…A FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1100 PM CDT FOR EASTERN LAUDERDALE…NORTHWESTERN LIMESTONE AND NORTHERN LAWRENCE COUNTIES… At 903 PM CDT, emergency management reported flooding due to slow moving thunderstorms with very heavy rainfall across the warned area. Up to three inches of rain have already fallen. Several roadways in eastern Lauderdale and western Limestone counties have become impassible due to water over the roadway. Additional rainfall could further aggravate this flooding over the next couple of hours. Some locations that will experience flooding include… Rogersville, Town Creek, Lexington, Courtland, North Courtland, Hillsboro, Anderson, Good Springs, Coxey and Oliver.

* At 757 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a cluster of slow moving thunderstorms producing heavy rain which will cause flooding. Up to three inches of rain have already fallen.
