…SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR NORTHEASTERN JACKSON AND
NORTHEASTERN DEKALB COUNTIES UNTIL 700 PM CDT…
At 632 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a couple of strong
thunderstorms in the advisory area. The strongest cell was located
near Ider, or 13 miles south of Trenton, with another storm of
similar strength located 5 miles north northwest of Ider. Both cells
were moving to the north at 20 mph.
Wind gusts around 40 mph will be possible with these storms.
Locations impacted include…
Bridgeport, Henagar, Ider, Pisgah, Rosalie, Fabius, Sulpher Springs
and Higdon.
