Sunny Weekend

**No afternoon Weather Xtreme video today due to travel; I am live at Alabama Adventure at 5 and 6 this evening on ABC 33/40**

CLEARING: The clearing will continue across Alabama, and most places will be free of clouds later tonight. This will allow temperatures to drop into the upper 50s in many areas early tomorrow; some of the cooler valleys could be in the low to mid 50s. Not bad for a June morning in Alabama.

The NAM and the GFS MOS products are in agreement… printing a high of 86 tomorrow, and 90 on Sunday. Both days will be mostly sunny with fairly low humidity values.

NEXT WEEK: Moisture slowly returns after Monday, and for now it looks like the best coverage of scattered showers and storms will come on Wednesday and Thursday.

AT THE BEACH: Some of the nicest you can expect along the coast for early June. Four days of mostly sunshine through Tuesday. The weather should be dry, lower humidity on Saturday and little or no chance of a shower or storm until about Tuesday and only few at that time. Highs mostly in the upper 80s. The water temperature was 80 today at the Mobile Coast Guard Station and also off Panama City and 79 off Orange Beach and Pensacola Bay.

TWITTER: Don’t forget, you can follow our news and weather updates from ABC 33/40 on Twitter here. And, my personal Twitter feed is here if you want to keep up with my adventures in life. Twitter is a short messaging service you can receive via the web, cell phone, or IM.

WEATHER BRAINS: Don’t forget you can listen to our weekly 30 minute netcast anytime on the web, or on iTunes. This is the show all about weather featuring many familiar voices, including our meteorologists here at ABC 33/40. You can even listen here on the blog; look for the player on the top left.

I will be away next week on vacation… hopefully Brian Peters will be able to crank out the Weather Xtreme video in my absence. I will be back on the grid Monday June 15, hopefully with my voice back in service!
