MARION…WESTERN WINSTON…NORTHERN FAYETTE AND NORTHEASTERN LAMAR COUNTIES IS CANCELLED…

The storms which prompted the warning have weakened below severe limits, and no longer pose an immediate threat to life or property. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

…A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 745 PM CDT FOR NORTHWESTERN WALKER…MARION…WESTERN WINSTON…NORTHERN FAYETTE AND NORTHEASTERN LAMAR COUNTIES… At 709 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 7 miles north of Beaverton to 6 miles south of Haleyville, moving southeast at 30 mph.

     HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts.
     SOURCE…Radar indicated.
     IMPACT…Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include… Jasper, Hamilton, Winfield, Haleyville, Carbon Hill, Lynn, Guin, Double Springs, Brilliant, Glen Allen, Kansas, Nauvoo, Beaverton, Gu- Win, Eldridge, Houston Recreational Area, Camp McDowell, Ashbank, Poplar Springs and Ashridge.
