…SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SOUTHEASTERN COLBERT COUNTY UNTIL
445 PM CDT…
At 406 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a area of moderate to
heavy showers and thunderstorms stretching from west of Tuscumbia
into the Muscle Shoals area, moving east at 20 mph. One to two
inches of rainfall has fallen over these areas and an additional
half to one inch of additional rainfall is possible through 445 PM
CDT, causing some localized flash flooding.
Locations impacted include…
Muscle Shoals, Sheffield, Tuscumbia, Littleville, Leighton, Posey
Loop, Northwest Alabama Regional Airport, New Bethel, Barton and Red
Rock.
