Latest 100 Degrees Ever at Birmingham

It was another record breaking day of heat across Alabama.

At the Birmingham-Shuttlesworth Airport, the high was 101. This broke the previous daily record of 93 set in 1911. The morning low of 70F tied for the warmest October 3rd low on record.

Tuscaloosa registered 101F, easily besting the former daily mark of set in 1954.

Anniston hit 100 degrees, smashing the record for October 3rd, which was 92 set in 1959.

Montgomery hit a sizzling 102, beating the former mark of 94, set in 1959.
