Gov. Kay Ivey Awards $1 Million For Alabama 2020 Census Outreach

Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey announced Monday that she has awarded $1 million to support efforts to promote awareness of the 2020 census and educate and encourage Alabamians to participate in the nation’s once-every-decade count of its citizens.
The money, provided by the Legislature, is going to 34 government agencies and organizations for programs to increase Alabamians’ response rate during the 2020 Census this spring.
