The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Talladega County in east central Alabama…
Calhoun County in east central Alabama…
Coosa County in east central Alabama…

* Until 300 PM CST.

* At 140 PM CST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Ashville to near Westover to near Mulberry,
moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Anniston, Oxford, Talladega, Sylacauga, Jacksonville, Childersburg,
Piedmont, Wilsonville, Goodwater, Rockford, Kellyton, Talladega
Springs, Equality, West End-Cobb Town, Stewartville, Weogufka, Cobb
Town, Fort McClellan, Saks and Lincoln.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 400 PM CST for central
Alabama. A Tornado Watch also remains in effect until 800 PM CST for
northeastern and east central Alabama.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
