The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Southeastern Dallas County in south central Alabama…

* Until 230 PM CST.

* At 150 PM CST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Vida Junction to 8 miles southeast of Belknap,
moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD…70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include…
Dallas Lake, Belknap, Gardner Island, Burnsville, Tyler,
Carlowville and Minter.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 400 PM CST for central and
south central Alabama.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
