EXPIRED – Tornado Warning For Lawrence, Limestone, Morgan Counties Until 7:00 PM

The National Weather Service in Huntsville Alabama has issued a

* Tornado Warning for…
South central Limestone County in north central Alabama…
Northwestern Morgan County in north central Alabama…
Northern Lawrence County in northwestern Alabama…

* Until 700 PM CDT.

* At 634 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Town Creek, or 11 miles northwest of Moulton,
moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD…Tornado and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include…
Decatur, Athens, Trinity, Town Creek, Courtland, North Courtland,
Hillsboro, Chalybeate Springs, Town Creek, Ne Smith and Caddo.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.

Heavy rainfall may hide this tornado. Do not wait to see or hear the
