Tornado Watch Issued For Much Of The Southern Half Of Central Alabama Until 3:00 PM

NWS Birmingham along with the Storm Prediction Center has issued a TORNADO WATCH for the following counties in Central Alabama: Autauga, Barbour, Bullock, Chambers, Clay, Coosa, Dallas, Elmore, Lee, Lowndes, Macon, Montgomery, Pike, Randolph, Russell, and Tallapoosa.

A couple of tornadoes, hail up to marble size, and damaging wind gusts up to 70 MPH may be possible in the watch locations.
