Tornado Emergency in Southern Mississippi Southwest of Laurel

| April 12, 2020 @ 4:07 pm

A Tornado Emergency for parts of Lawrence and Marion Counties in southern Mississippi south of Jackson northwest of Columbia.

These will move northeast and we will deal with them eventually into Choctaw, Marengo, Perry, and Dallas Counties, toward Selma.

The airmass over southern Mississippi and southwestern Alabama is extremely volatile and strong, long-tracked tornadoes are likely from storms that form down in this region and move into Alabama.
