Heads Up: Pickens/Tuscaloosa/Fayette Tornadic Storm Will Move Toward Walker/Northern Jefferson

The very dangerous storm that is passing north of Gordo and northeast of Reform in Pickens County will pass near or just south of Berry in Fayette County and along the Jefferson/Walker County line south of Oakman/Parrish in Walker County. It will get into northern Jefferson County around Adamsville/Kimberly and Warrior in less than an hour.

Residents downstream of this storm should be making preliminary plans for taking shelter as this dangerous storm approaches.

The storm seems to be riding along the warm front. To the south, the temperature at Tuscaloosa has risen to 79F with a dewpoint of 68F.
