Sunny, Cool, & A Little Breezy At Midday

| April 15, 2020 @ 12:58 pm

It is a rather cool and breezy midday hour across Central Alabama, as skies are nearly completely clear across the area. Temperatures were in the lower 50s to the lower 60s across the area as of the 12:00 pm roundup. Birmingham was at 57 degrees. The warm spot was Troy at 63 degrees. The cool spot was Haleyville at 53 degrees.

We’ll continue with sunny skies through the remainder of the afternoon and into the evening, but temperatures will remain below normal for this time of year. Afternoon highs will be in the lower 60s to the lower 70s across the area. For tonight, skies will be mostly clear and temperatures will be quite chilly… Cold enough that some patchy frost may develop over the northern parts of Central Alabama. Lows will dip down into the mid-30s to the mid-40s.

Thursday will be another fantastic day with slightly warmer temperatures and mostly clear skies. Afternoon highs look to reach the lower to mid-70s.
