Very Nice At Midday Across Central Alabama
Clouds have been eroding away all morning long and the northern half of Central Alabama now has clear skies. The southern half still has partly to mostly cloudy skies, but those will be out of the area in a couple of hours. Temperatures as of the 12:00 pm round-up were in the mid-60s to the lower 70s across the area. Birmingham was at 66 degrees. The cool spot was Haleyville at 64 degrees. The warm spot was Montgomery at 71 degrees.
Those clouds will continue to move out of the area during the afternoon and we should end up with mainly clear skies by sunset. Afternoon highs will top out in the lower to mid-70s across the area. For tonight, skies will be mostly clear, but some patchy fog is expected to develop over the southern parts of the area during the late-night hours and will expand during the overnight hours. Lows will bottom out in the upper 40s to the mid-50s.
Tuesday will be another fantastic day across Central Alabama as skies will be mainly sunny and temperatures will be mild. Afternoon highs will be in the mid-70s to around 80 degrees.
