Strong Storms Affecting Chilton & Coosa Counties

At 514 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Mitchell Lake, or near Clanton, moving east at 35 mph. Winds of 40 to 50 mph will be possible with this storm.

Clanton, Jemison, Rockford, Weogufka, Thorsby, Hanover, Lyle,
Pentonville, Dollar, Gap Of The Mountain, Cottage Grove,
Bentleyville, Moriah, Nixburg, Mitchell Lake, Lay Lake Dam, Highway 9
and Highway 22, Unity, Higgins Ferry Park and Crewsville.
