Strong Storms Affecting Marengo & Sumter Co.

…SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SOUTHERN MARENGO AND SOUTHWESTERN
SUMTER COUNTIES UNTIL 430 PM CDT…

At 340 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Snell to 8 miles southwest of Dixons Mill.
Movement was north at 25 mph.

Pea size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
these storms.

Locations impacted include…
York, Linden, Cuba, Thomaston, Sweet Water, Myrtlewood, Nanafalia,
Surginer, Putnam, Freddie Jones Field, Pin Hook, Magnolia, Wayne,
Miller, Kinterbish, Dixons Mill, Half Acre, Old Mallard Airport,
Octagon and Nicholsville.
