UNTIL 145 PM CDT…

At 1258 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Pinson, or near Gardendale, moving southeast at 25 mph.

Wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include…
Birmingham, Vestavia Hills, Mountain Brook, Trussville, Gardendale,
Irondale, Leeds, Moody, Fultondale, Center Point, Clay, Pinson,
Tarrant, Adamsville, Argo, Warrior, Kimberly, Graysville, Morris and
Brookside.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
