Strong storms continue scored parts of Alabama this afternoon.

A severe thunderstorm warning was just issued for parts of Walker County until 5 p.m.

Otherwise, the strongest storms are on the eastern side of the state. Some of the strongest are in Tallapoosa and Coosa counties.

Be prepared for dangerous lightning, heavy rain, strong winds, and even a little small hail from the stronger storms. There was a fatality earlier this afternoon in Center Point when a tree fell on a home.
