Marginal Risk Expanded Southward into the Extreme Northern Parts of Central Alabama

The latest update from the Storm Prediction Center shows that the Level 1 Marginal Risk has been expanded southward into the extreme northern parts of Central Alabama. Nearly all of North Alabama has been included as well.

The Marginal Risk includes locations along and north of a line from Hackleburg to Hanceville to Leesburg.

Isolated damaging wind gusts up to 60 MPH will be possible with any storm that becomes strong during the next hour or so. The threat should be over around or just after 9:00 pm tonight.
