EXPIRED Severe T-Storm Warning for Parts of Marion Co. Until 4:15 pm

The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Northwestern Marion County in northwestern Alabama…

* Until 415 PM CDT.

* At 336 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Tremont, or
12 miles southeast of Fulton, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Hamilton, Weston, Byrd, Bexar, Pigeye, Shottsville and Rankin Fite
Airport.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 400 PM CDT for northwestern
Alabama.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will send your report to the National Weather Service
office in Birmingham.
