Bridges & Highways Being Closed to & From Gulf Shores & Orange Beach
If people have not evacuated from the Alabama Gulf Coast, it now looks like they will have to ride out Hurricane Sally somewhere on the coast. The bridge on Hwy-59 leading into Gulf Shores and the highway south of the bridge is now being closed. Along with that, Orange Beach has now closed the Foley Beach Express toll bridge that crosses the intercoastal waterway, and the Perdido Pass bridge. Here are some Tweets from the beaches…
Gulf Shores is closing the Hwy. 59 bridge and Hwy. 59 South from Fort Morgan to the beach. Orange Beach closed Foley Beach Express toll bridge + Perdido Pass bridge. If you are on the island, you will not be able to get off the island until the bridges reopen. #HurricaneSally
