Wind Advisories Issued for This Evening through Much of the Overnight Hours

NWS Birmingham has issued a WIND ADVISORY for Blount, Calhoun, Cherokee, Clay, Cleburne, Etowah, Fayette, Jefferson, Lamar, Marion, Shelby, St. Clair, Talladega, Walker, and Winston counties valid from 6:00 pm tonight until 3:00 am Sunday. Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

NWS Huntsville has also issued a WIND ADVISORY for Colbert, Cullman, DeKalb, Franklin, Jackson, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Marshall, Morgan counties valid from 6:00 pm tonight until 3:00 am Sunday. South winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph expected.
