Showers Massing Across Central Alabama

That predicted sunshine out there this morning is in the liquid variety. Showers have become fairly widespread from Cullman to Tuscaloosa and then southeastward through the Birmingham metro extending all the way to Columbus GA.

Movement is north northeast. Activity down around Perry, Autauga and Chilton Counties may affect the Birmingham area later.

No lightning yet, but it may not be long before some forms as the cells grow in height.

So, it looks like more clouds and about a 30-40 percent chance of rain today. Highs will back off a couple of degrees from what was predicted…generally averaging around 82F.

A sneak peek at tomorrow looks a lot like today.
