Strong Storms Moving into Western Jefferson County from Tuscaloosa County

Strong thunderstorms have developed over eastern Tuscaloosa County and are moving into western Jefferson County.

The main cores extend from Brookwood and Coaling to near North Johns, Lake View, and Woodstock.

Expect lightning, very heavy rain, and small hail with these storms.

The NWS in Birmingham is currently coordinating on a tornado watch with the Storm Prediction Center.
