Tornado Warning for Parts of DeKalb County until 11:15 pm

A possible tornado is near Fyffe. It will be approaching Rainsville and Sylvania.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN HUNTSVILLE ALABAMA HAS ISSUED A

* TORNADO WARNING FOR…
CENTRAL DEKALB COUNTY IN NORTHEASTERN ALABAMA…

* UNTIL 1115 PM CDT.

* AT 1044 PM CDT, A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A
TORNADO WAS LOCATED OVER FYFFE, OR 7 MILES SOUTHWEST OF RAINSVILLE,
MOVING NORTHEAST AT 40 MPH.

HAZARD…TORNADO.

SOURCE…RADAR INDICATED ROTATION.

IMPACT…FLYING DEBRIS WILL BE DANGEROUS TO THOSE CAUGHT WITHOUT
SHELTER. MOBILE HOMES WILL BE DAMAGED OR DESTROYED.
DAMAGE TO ROOFS, WINDOWS, AND VEHICLES WILL OCCUR. TREE
DAMAGE IS LIKELY.

* LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE…
RAINSVILLE, HENAGAR, SYLVANIA, FYFFE, POWELL, LAKEVIEW AND GUEST.
