Wind Advisory Shifted Around… Some Counties Removed, Some Added

NWS Birmingham has removed Bibb, Greene, Hale, Jefferson, Perry, Pickens, Shelby, Sumter, and Tuscaloosa counties from the Wind Advisory as the threat for gusty winds have exited those locations.

Blount, Cherokee, and Etowah counties have been added to the advisory.

The Wind Advisory continues until midnight for Autauga, Barbour, Bullock, Calhoun, Chambers, Chilton, Clay, Cleburne, Coosa, Dallas, Elmore, Lee, Lowndes, Macon, Marengo, Montgomery, Pike, Randolph, Russell, St. Clair, Talladega, and Tallapoosa counties.

A wake low has formed along the backside of the departing rain shield and winds may gust up as high as 40 MPH at times. Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
