Flash Flood Warning for Cullman, Morgan, Marshall, & Lawrence Co. Until 5:30 pm

The National Weather Service in Huntsville has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for…
Cullman County in north central Alabama…
Southern Morgan County in north central Alabama…
West Central Marshall County in northeastern Alabama…
Southeastern Lawrence County in northwestern Alabama…

* Until 530 PM CDT.

* At 221 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across much of Cullman County and portions of Southern
Morgan and Western Marshall Counties. These locations have already
received upwards of 3 to 4 inches of rainfall earlier today, and
experienced flash flooding along Interstate 65 and in many other
locations this morning.

HAZARD…Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE…Doppler radar.

IMPACT…Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other
drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include…
Cullman, Hartselle, Arab, Hanceville, Good Hope, Falkville, Holly
Pond, Dodge City, Baldwin, Vinemont, Baileyton, West Point, Eva,
Garden City, Colony, Phelan, Lacon, Cole Springs, Logan and
Battleground.
