Watching Jefferson County Storm Closely: Be Alert Northwest and North of City of Birmingham

Rotation has increased rapidly over western Jefferson County northwest of Fairfield.

This tornado could touch down at any time and will pass near Pratt City, Coalburg, Fultondale, and Gardendale. It could be as far south as Tarrant and Center Pooint.

Please let your friends in these areas know and be ready to implement your tornado plan on a moment’s notice.
