Watch Update: New Severe Thunderstorm Watch, Tornado Watch Changes

A new severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for Calhoun, Cherokee, Etowah, Jefferson, Pickens, St. Clair, and Tuscaloosa Counties til 10:00 AM CDT.

The tornado watch for Blount and Walker Counties is changed to a severe thunderstorm watch until 10 a.m.

The tornado watch is canceled for Lamar and Marion Counties.

The tornado watch continues until 6 a.m. for Fayette and Winston Counties.

The NWS Huntsville is continuing their tornado watch until 6 a.m. for Morgan, Madison, Cullman, Marshall, Jackson, and DeKalb Counties. The eastern counties like Marshall, Jackson, and DeKalb might get extended a couple of hours until 8 a.m. or so.
