Severe Thunderstorm Watch Issued for the Southern Half of Central Alabama Until 5:00 pm

NWS Birmingham has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch until 5:00 pm this evening for the following counties in Central Alabama: Autauga, Barbour, Bibb, Bullock, Chambers, Chilton, Coosa, Dallas, Elmore, Greene, Hale, Lee, Lowndes, Macon, Marengo, Montgomery, Perry, Pike, Russell, Sumter, and Tallapoosa.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH
70 IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON FOR THE FOLLOWING

SUMTER
