Alabama Newscenter — Hyundai releases teaser images of Santa Cruz pickup to be built in Alabama

Hyundai is providing a sneak peak of its first-ever pickup before the vehicle begins rolling off the assembly line at its Montgomery plant this summer.

They are the first teaser images of the 2022 Santa Cruz Sport Adventure Vehicle, which is being billed as something that will be groundbreaking in the “SUV, truck and crossover segments by offering a new category of vehicle unlike anything else in the U.S. market.”

Most people, because of its open bed, would label it a pickup truck. Hyundai, however, doesn’t use that phrase in its description.
