Severe Thunderstorm Watch Extended for Northwestern Counties, But Canceled for the Rest of Central Alabama

The NWS in Birmingham has extended the Severe Thunderstorm Watch until 9 p.m. for Fayette, Lamar, Marion, Pickens, Tuscaloosa, Walker, and Winston Counties.

The watch has been canceled for the remaining counties, including Autauga, Bibb, Blount, Chilton, Coosa, Dallas, Elmore, Greene, Hale, Jefferson, Lowndes, Marengo, Montgomery, Perry, Shelby, St. Clair, Sumter, and Talladega Counties.
