The National Weather Service in Huntsville Alabama has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Southeastern DeKalb County in northeastern Alabama…

* Until 545 PM CDT.

* At 526 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Fyffe, or 7
miles south of Rainsville, moving east at 50 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Fort Payne, Rainsville, Fyffe, Valley Head, Hammondville, Mentone,
Pine Ridge, Dog Town, Collbran and Guest.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

This storm is producing large hail. SEEK SHELTER NOW inside a sturdy
structure and stay away from windows!
