| April 24, 2021 @ 8:47 pm

The last three Central Alabama counties have been cleared from the severe thunderstorm watch.

The front shows up clearly in this analysis of dewpoints (shown in colors) and in wind direction and velocity with the wind barbs.

In the green, dewpoints range from the upper 40s to the 50s. The yellow shows dewpoints in the 60s. The dewpoint at Muscle Shoals has already dropped to 49F.

Winds continue to gust to over 20 mph behind the front. A wind advisory is in effect for much of Central Alabama until 4 a.m.
