Quincy Moore of Concierge Mobile Barbershop provided free haircuts Saturday as the Birmingham Association of Black Journalists (BABJ), in partnership with Brother Let’s Talk and the Birmingham Barber Coalition, hosted “Choppin’ It Up” at Linn Park downtown.

The BABJ sponsored the free barber services and mini-therapy sessions aimed to refresh the minds and bodies of homeless men in the Birmingham metro area as part of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) “Black Male Media Project.”

Rashad Hayes, Yvas Witherspoon and Jacques Austin of Brother Let’s Talk were also on hand.
